Jarkko Riihimäki) sowie Werke von Igor Strawinsky, Fazıl Say, Sergej Prokofjew, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Edward Elgar und Alfred Schnittke bilden die musikalische Basis der Lesung der Texte von Roger Willemsen. Die tierischen Reize dieser „zoologischen Fantasie“ haben Roger Willemsen zu einer scharfzüngigen und mitunter deftigen Reise in die Tierwelt animiert. Mit sprachlichem Witz, Freude am Pittoresken und spöttischem Blick auf das Hier und Jetzt führt Willemsen den Zuhörer schwungvoll durch den Klassiker von Saint-Saëns. „Roger Willemsen hinterlässt eine Lücke, die nicht mehr zu füllen ist. Camille Saint-Saëns unvergleichliche Kompositionen haben ihn zu einer lyrischen Geschichte verführt, die von Humor und Phantasie geradezu birst.
